Our Swedish - Polish Heritage

Our Swedish-Polish heritage is at the core of Explore Markets. Founded in 2014 by Fredrik Udd, a Swedish international business consultant, and his Polish wife, Katarzyna, who brings her expertise in marketing and business development, we bridge two cultures and economies. While our work now spans 14 markets, we remain deeply connected to Sweden and Poland, serving as a strategic link between Scandinavia, Central, and Eastern Europe. We take pride in actively contributing to the growth of the Swedish-Polish business community and fostering lasting business connections.

Fredrik has over 20 years of experience in international business development, specializing in market entry and M&A advisory. He has gained experience at Roland Berger, Accenture, and Business Sweden, where he was Trade Commissioner to Argentina and Chile. Fredrik has lived and worked in five countries on three continents, and has carried out market entry supply chain and M&A projects in 15+ countries around the world. Since more than 10 years he is based in Warsaw. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.

Katarzyna has over 16 years of experience in business development and marketing. She leads international projects focusing on market research, partner search, lead generation, and sales. Previously, she served as Marketing Director at a top UK consultancy in commercial real estate in Poland. A certified marketing expert (CIM, DMI) with a degree in International Relations, she has worked across six international markets, providing her with a unique perspective to support global expansion.
